Ditalini with Smoked Ham and Goat Cheese


  • 1 lb. uncooked ditalini pasta
  • 8 oz. coarsely chopped smoked ham
  • 8 oz. crumbled soft mild goat cheese
  • 5 scallions, thinly sliced
  • Cooking spray


  • 1. Cook ditalini according to package directions for al dente. Drain, reserving 3/4 cup pasta water. Toss hot ditalini with remaining ingredients and reserved cooking water until cheese is melted.
  • 2. Spoon pasta mixture into half hotel pan coated with cooking spray. Place under salamander or broiler 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 3. Divide between 6 plates and serve.
