1. Preheat standard oven to 350°F. Line sheet pan with parchment paper; set aside.
2. Wrap 1 slice bacon slice around each parsnip half.
3. Whisk egg in medium bowl. Place sesame seeds in shallow bowl.
4. Dip each parsnip half into egg, then into sesame seeds, turning to coat evenly on all sides.
5. Heat 2-inches vegetable oil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat to 350°F. Fry parsnips, in batches, 1 to 2 minutes or until sesame seeds are golden. Drain parsnips on paper towels.
6. Arrange fried parsnips on prepared sheet pan. Bake 6 to 7 minutes or until parsnips are softened. Plate 4 pieces per serving.
