Ham and Swiss Stack


  • 1 whole grain hoagie roll, horizontally cut in half, toasted
  • 1 Tbsp. whole grain mustard
  • 1 oz. shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 slice tomato
  • 1 oz. sliced avocado
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced ham
  • 2 slices (1/2 oz. each) Swiss cheese


  • 1. Spread mustard on bottom half of roll. Top with lettuce, tomato and avocado.
  • 2. Place ham on top half of roll. Cover with cheese. Place under heated salamander or broiler until cheese is melted.
  • 3. Place top half over avocado and serve.
