The Suburban Sandwich


  • 2 slices black bread, toasted
  • 4 oz. heated barbecued pork
  • 1/2 oz. roasted onions
  • 1/2 oz. roasted red peppers
  • 2 slices (1/2 oz. each) Pepper Jack cheese
  • 1 oz. barbecue sauce


  • 1. Place pork, onions, peppers and cheese on one slice of bread.
  • 2. Place under heated salamander or broiler until cheese is melted.
  • 3. Spread barbecue sauce over cheese. Cover with second slice of bread. Cut in half to serve.
