Pork Sandwich with Bacon and Apple Butter


  • 2 oz. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed chipotle pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh sage
  • 2 baguettes, each cut into 2 pieces, then horizontally cut in half
  • 4 oz. prepared apple butter
  • 1 oz. mixed greens
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 1 lb. sliced smoked pork loin
  • 4 oz. slices (1 oz. each) Brie cheese
  • 4 oz. cooked crumbled bacon


  • 1. Combine mayonnaise, pepper flakes and sage. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • 2. Spread 1 side of each piece of bread with mayonnaise mixture. Spread other side of bread with apple butter.
  • 3. Evenly divide and layer bottom of each bread piece with mixed greens, tomatoes, pork, cheese and bacon. Cover with top of bread. Cut in half to serve.
