Macaroni and Cheese with Ham


  • Cooking spray
  • 1-1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2-1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2-1/2 cups chopped America cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced Ham-Off-The-Bone
  • 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley


  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat quarter hotel pan with cooking spray; set aside. Cook macaroni according to package directions for al dente; rinse; drain; set aside.
  • 2. Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat. Stir in flour, mustard and pepper. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 2 minutes or until mixture has thickened slightly. Reduce heat to low. Stir in cheese until melted. Stir in cooked macaroni and ham.
  • 3. Spoon pasta mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and parsley. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through. Divide evenly between 4 plates and serve.
