Pizza with Sopressata, Blue Cheese and Caramelized Onions
Ingredients
2 oz. canola oil
2 cups thinly sliced Spanish onions
4 oz. olive oil
1 oz. minced fresh garlic
4 (6-inch diameter) prepared pizza crusts
12 oz. thinly sliced sopressata
8 oz. crumbled Blue cheese
Directions
1. Preheat standard oven to 375°F. Sauté onions in canola oil in medium skillet on medium-low heat 12 to 15 minutes or until caramelized, stirring occasionally.
2. Combine olive oil and garlic. Place pizza crusts on full sheet pan. Spread crusts evenly with olive oil mixture. Top with onions, sopressata and cheese.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and edge of crust is golden. Plate 1 pizza per serving.
