Updated Cuban Sandwich


  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 8 slices ciabatta bread, sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 6 oz. sliced Black Forest Ham
  • 6 oz. sliced turkey breast
  • 8 dill pickle slices
  • 12 slices (1/2 oz. each) Swiss cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, softened


  • 1. Combine mustard and mayonnaise. Spread mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  • 2. Top evenly with ham, turkey breast, pickle slices and cheese. Cover with second slice of bread.
  • 3. Spread outside of each sandwich with butter. Grill on medium heat 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden. Cut in half and serve.
