Green Beans with Hot Ham


  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped Pavone hot ham
  • 1 lb. green beans, trimmed, cut vertically in half
  • 1 cup thin strips roasted red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock


  • 1. Cook ham in olive oil in skillet on medium heat until brown and crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • 2. Add green beans and bell pepper to skillet. Toss on medium-high heat 1 minute or until coated with drippings.
  • 3. Add stock; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 4 to 6 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • 4. Divide evenly among 6 plates. Sprinkle with ham before serving.
