Bacon Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooked chopped bacon
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  • 1. Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl. Add combined buttermilk, melted butter and eggs. Mix just until all ingredients are combined.
  • 2. Stir in bacon.
  • 3. Bake in preheated waffle iron brushed with oil, according to manufacturer’s directions.
  • 4. Divide waffles evenly between 4 plates and serve.
